Noah Part II

Here's another set of cute Noah photos, along with some fun anecdotes:
Upside down coat with swimsuit and snow boots.

When we first got Noah, he would try to get the Echo Dot to play songs for him, but he still couldn't talk much. (He could only say about 5-10 words when he arrived.) He would lean on the kitchen counter, push a button to bypass Alexa, and then try to say "box of cats," (which would make it meow). Alexa always heard it as "bobcat," and she'd give the definition. We all had that definition memorized.

This is an earlier picture, but when Echo was able to smile, no one could get her to smile and laugh better than Noah. When she sees him now, she makes excited noises just in anticipation.

Eli got a DMV app on my phone to study for his learner's permit, and it ended up being Noah's favorite thing. He would scroll through the different pictures of traffic signs and have me tell him about them until he could talk about them himself.

Sometimes I'd tell Noah, "Yeah, sure," when he'd ask to do something, so then he'd start answering himself with that. "Have 'uit 'ack (fruit snack)? Yeah, sure!" or "Play cars 'side? Yeah, sure!"

He was scared to go to school at first, but then he'd tell me it was fun.
Terra bingo night.
Noah uses a plate as a steering wheel and drives around the kitchen. He uses random things like the hand sanitizer or a water bottle on the counters to serve as stop signs and street lights. He says, "Bop!" for stop. (He usually uses a Disney princess plate, but he'll sometimes grab a paper plate or a parade frisbee.)

He will often line up his little cars according to color.

This one isn't politically correct, but he often wants to verify that I'm going to stay. (He always has to go where I go, and used to cry if I ever had to go somewhere without him.) So he'll say, "You stay?" but it used to sound like "You gay?" so I'd sometimes respond that I hadn't come out of the closet yet.
He looks like Fred Flinstone in this car.

Noah likes to say the prayer at mealtimes and at night. He used to babble with a few recognizable words. Now he says more recognizable words with an "mmmm" sound in between.
