This first one is very special. The Church changed the way they do advancements, so Jonah became a deacon, Tori became a Mia Maid, and Eli became a priest with the beginning of the new year. Jonah was able to do baptisms in the temple, and Eli was able to perform the baptisms for the first time. Here they are with wet hair and donuts:
Several people offered food or help after my hysterectomy, and I declined, but Sis. Shelly Chivers just told me it was coming. And it was a FEAST.
Jonah showing me which gel to buy:
John's firm won an award for a job he designed. It was awarded at a banquet in SLC.
This was our Cinco De Mayo dinner. When I uploaded it, I thought it was St. Patrick's Day. The picture below is Noah with some of the gifts from the Leprechauns.
I usually avoid reunions, because I'm anti-social, but I forced myself to go to my mission reunion, and I was so glad! I love these people so much - especially my mision president.
Tori and Jonah did amazing science fair projects this year. Tori took first in her division, and Jonah got an honorable mention in his. Jonah tested possible materials that could be used in place of sandbags in an emergency. Tori tested paper towel absorbency. The first picture is all of the kids from Terra.
| Jonah showed his project later at "Terra Presents." |
| We got this used electric guitar for Eli, and he's playing well. |
