Here's what I wrote about the first race of the year:
The first race of the season was at Powder Mountain yesterday. It was Jonah's first ever, and he started toward the back of 104 racers in the 7th grade division. He ended up finishing in the middle of the pack, which was so great! The most impressive thing was that he cut at least 7 minutes off his lowest course time. Eli moved up to JV this year and took 8th in his division! It was all so exciting!
The boys had ups and downs in their races this year, but they seemed to enjoy it all, regardless. And we loved cheering them on. It really is so impressive to me. And don't they look dreamy?
