Back to School

Well, the summer flew by, and school has started back up. Sigh. I just really like summer.

In any case, the kids looked sharp as they headed off to start a new year.
Jonah was probably doing something that made me chop off Eli's head,
Furry cat backpack!

Tori's hair took too long, so we didn't have time to get a picture of her that first morning. We tried another day, but Jonah got in the way:

But I got a great shot after Tori got a cute new haircut recently:

And a bonus picture with Jonah's new instrument. Is a tuba not the perfect Jonah instrument?

School has gotten better for Eli. He has great friends and is doing well academically. He generally enjoys going. Tori is in 8th grade, which explains why she's having a harder time with the social aspects of school, although she also has good friends, and is on the student council. School has become more stressful for Jonah, now that he's in middle school, but he's still doing very well. And Maggie is as happy there as ever. They're tearing it up academically. (Which is why I love parent teacher conference.)
