Pumpkin Farm

We went to Black Island Farms today. I'm writing about it quickly so that John can see the pictures at work. It was a field trip for our preschool, and then we invited other moms in the ward. We had a huge turn-out. I have no idea how many came, but we more than filled two of their trailers that a woman had told us would fit 50. It was fun to be there with everyone. It was also fun because I ran into one of my old friends who lives in Arizona and is here visiting family. I've just been reminiscing since I saw her and thinking about how strange life is. We used to be so close, and now we do Christmas cards, if that. Anyway, back to the fun day. Jonah is to the age where he'll just take off in some direction without a backwards glance, so that was crazy, but they all loved the slides, the pig races, the little train, etc. This year, we got their faces painted, which ended up being their favorite thing.

Thanks again Marn, that was such fun. If we would have known the pig races were going to happen we would have stuck around for sure!
