Halloween House

There is a house, not too far from ours, that really decorates for the main holidays. They cover every inch of their front yard with inflatables, and my kids love it. Our walking route used to go down and then up to end at this house. Now, it is on the way to the elementary school, so we pass it each morning. It is usually too cold to walk there for the other holidays, but we see it every day that the weather permits leading up to Halloween, so the kids call it "The Halloween House." Last year in November, Eli changed it to "The Holiday House" at my suggestion, but Tori just kept calling it, "The Halloween House." We talked to the woman last year, and she said that someone came by and stole their biggest Halloween inflatable, and she was thinking of stopping the whole practice, but luckily, the Thanksgiving stuff still went up the next month. The kids usually get out to count the spiders seen here:
We take a minimalist approach to holiday decorating, so we appreciate those who really do a great job of it and entertain our kids!
