In the early stages of the quarantine, everything was cancelled. Most cities cancelled their 4th of July parade, including North Ogden. However, Vernal went ahead, and I was so grateful! It felt so good to be doing something normal like this. They still passed out candy, which surprised me. We all agreed it was one of our favorite parades, but I'm sure it was just that we needed it so much.
Parades sometimes make me a bit teary. I don't know why. Maybe because I associate them with so many great memories from the past? In any case, Happy 4th!
