Baby/Small Child Blessing

In an effort to move through these catch-up posts quickly, I'm going to quote my post on Facebook:

We blessed Noah and Echo today at church! We usually bless children as babies in our church, and they become members officially (although they are not baptized until later). So we dress them in white, but I didn’t have time to order white clothing and get it here by today. I mentioned in a family email that I wouldn’t have a white dress for Echo, which was fine, and I was going to have Noah wear his suit. My mom mailed two white dresses to me, and my sister had several mailed to her and and then DROVE them to me from Centerville (since Amazon wouldn’t get to Vernal in time). This is just one example of the many, many incredible things our extended family members do for us. In adopting these kids, we have given them the best two extended family networks out there!

I had hoped that we would get them sealed to us soon after, but it is 2021, and we still haven't been able to do it. I'm going to call the temple today. I really wanted to wait until family could come, but who knows when that will be?
