Olympic Park (More Summer Recap)

This was probably my favorite of the SLC Pass experiences. I think I once went up to Olympic Park with friends, but I didn't get to experience all that we did on this trip to Park City. Wow. First we watched young Olympic hopefuls and the Australian female ski jumpers practice their jumps. Here's a side story: We sat by a nice woman who was a family friend of one of the Australians. She told us about how sweet and accessible the girl is and encouraged us to email her. Tori and Claire wrote to her when we got back, and they got a fun message from her soon after. It will be fun to root for her at the next Olympics. (I've forgotten her name, but Kimberly can remind me.)
Watching the ski jumping.

Trying out the bobsled, skeleton, and luge:

The pass was for a turn on the ropes course. It didn't sound that exciting to the kids beforehand, but it was really cool! They were so proud of themselves! (It ended up being a little too much for Maggie, so she and I were in charge of picture-taking. John walked below the kids and talked them through the tricky parts.)
Zipline at the end. I was so proud of all of them.
I took a picture of this because the kids were so excited to ride the ski lift back up to the museum.
We watched more ski jumping while we ate our picnic lunches.
Inside the Olympic Museum. The pass included that too.
John with his new look - and hobby.
My kids usually can't just take a normal, nice picture.
