This was an action-packed, fun trip with incredible people! We loved being with relatives that we just hadn't seen for some time.
Another bit of heaven!
It's funny now to see the shots of Charlotte and Delmer's house during that short visit. Who would have guessed
we'd end up living there soon after for nearly six months? I am grateful that the reunion was there, because it led to a job interview that brought us back close to our families. (I miss NY/PA terribly sometimes, but I missed family even more.)

| The slide in their home. |
| On Friday, we hiked on someone's private ranch that has an amazing number of cool petroglyphs. |
| Tori gets very flushed in the heat. It scared me when she was little. So here we are, resting in the shade. |
| I really liked the rocky terrain. |
| After lunch, we went to the rock quarry. This was amazing. They built the building on the side of a big quarry, so you can see how the bones look in the ground - and how many were/are at this one site. (Many bones from here are at a Pittsburgh museum, so that was a fun connection for us.) |
| We never miss an opportunity for this shot. |
| That evening we went to the Vernal Temple. (The teens did baptisms there earlier.) |
| On Sat., we went white-water rafting. This is everyone before we left. |
| I didn't have my camera on the river, so this is the only shot I have of the day. It's unfortunate, because there were fun water fights and beautiful scenery. Wait. There were some shots of everyone loading up the boats that someone else posted. I'll add those later. |
| Eve had a birthday on Sunday, so we celebrated with her. |
The Barrus reunions always include fun physical things that my kids wouldn't get to try otherwise - like rappelling, rafting - and camping as a family. :) I'm grateful that sweet relatives are willing to put in the work that those kinds of things require. We love family reunions!
