Ward Talent Show

Our ward (church) just had a talent show last night. It was so fun! I love our ward.

Eli played the banjo, Tori sang "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" while Maggie kind of did an interpretive dance around her, and Jonah did a comedy routine. I was SO proud of all of them. I wish my parents and others could have been there to see and hear them. Jonah's jokes got a lot of laughs. And when he said "Wacka wacka" like Fozzy Bear at the end (at Bro. Desisto's suggestion), the crowd loved it. They also liked it when Maggie stayed on stage to curtsy when their song was done, even though Tori, the main performer, had left.

Here are some other highlights: The Young Women and their leaders did a very cute/funny synchronized swimming routine. (Jackie and Laura are in the YW presidency.) The missionaries did a cool thing where they sprayed whipped cream into their hands and then flipped it high into the air and caught it in their mouths. Bro. Weed did some fun science experiments. Tim Smith did a funny magic trick. Charlotte Weed sang a beautiful number and her little Ruby did an adorable dance. But my favorite was the Burnett kids' performance featuring Spencer pretending to jump rope and periodically turning around to shake his behind. There were a lot of great performances!

I wish I'd taken pictures, but I just got so caught up in it.
