Tori's Eighth Birthday

My sweet girl turned eight this year! Wow. She picked out some cute plates and had us decorate cupcakes. She chose macaroni and cheese and asparagus for her dinner. We were supposed to go to the DeSisto's to swim with ward friends that afternoon, so I bought extra plates, etc. so that we could have a sort of friend party there. Unfortunately, they had to cancel, so we did the party the next week.  Her main present was a guinea pig that she named Nibbles.  (I got it for free along with the cage, food, and accessories from a woman I know here.  Yea!)  Then she got a couple of little stuffed animals and some make-up.  Delmer and Charlotte gave us money for a bike for her when they were here, but we haven't picked it out still.  With the money from my parents, she bought a fortune cookie-making kit.

Tori is such a sweetheart.  She helps me so much with Maggie.  She also loves to play rough with the boys and make up crazy things to add to the ongoing pretend world to which they retreat.  I love my pretty girl.
