Eli's Birthday

Eli's birthday was just a few days after we got home from Utah. Unfortunately, he had a fever and didn't feel great. We were going to invite the Tomkinson family over, but had to change plans and postpone the celebration with them. So we had spaghetti and cupcakes and he played with his gifts. The following Sat., the Tomkinsons met us at Valley Playland (we call it the castle park), and we had a little party. I took pictures with my phone, but I think Maggie has erased them. I can't find them anyway.  We had Angry Bird cupcakes from the store, as well as Angry Bird plates and gift bags. It was right before the Tomkinsons moved to Ohio, so it was a bit bittersweet.
Eli got mostly Lego sets for his birthday, if I remember correctly.
He had an Angry Birds theme for his family party.

The night of his birthday, we did our new tradition and looked at pictures and items from when Eli was little.  Then we each said something we liked about Eli:

Maggie - I love Eli and John Barrus.  He does a funny face to me.
Tori - Eli's really nice to everybody and he's really funny.
Jonah - He's so fun to play with and every time I watch church movies it makes me think how much I love him.
Dad - I love that Eli always tries to do what's right, and he tries to talk to his friends about Jesus.
Mom - I love how thoughtful Eli is - he is always thinking about other's feelings.  I am also amazed at how creative Eli is.
Jonah - He loves me.  I love him all through my heart.
