Bowling!

This last summer, we signed up for the "Kids Bowl Free" program. It's not actually completely free - you pay for shoe rental each time. But you can go once a week, and we enjoyed it. Here is one of our bowling outings. So I don't make it seem like everything is always rosy, there was a day when one of my sweet children didn't bowl as well as he/she might, and they spent a good portion of the remaining time sitting under an overhang nearby pouting. When it seemed like they might be weakening, I picked them up in a comical way and walked them over, saying it was their last chance to bowl. That kind of thing doesn't always work, but it did this time, and we were able to end on a positive note.  (I know I'm supposed to continue using "he/she" rather than "they" but it looked odd when repeated so often.)
During the day, there aren't many people there, so I didn't have to tell them to get up, or be quiet, etc.  I like that.
Not even the bumper pads could save that roll, I guess.
Bowling is cool.
Pause and pose, because my camera takes lousy action shots.
We love the ramp!
