Barrus Reunion Part II

Here are more pictures from the latter half of our trip to Utah. We loved being with so many of John's family members. We took turns fixing meals, and it was a big group to feed! I can't seem to add the last few pictures I have, so I'll end with these and try to add more later.

It was fun to see the beautiful scenery in So. Utah.  So different from what we see here in NY!
Eli and Tori's favorite part of the reunion was definitely the rappeling.  Many of John's siblings have worked with the youth, so they are great at this kind of thing.  They were all so sweet to get the kids ready and then to yell encouragement as they went down.  I was proud of Eli for being one of the first to go.  He loves this kind of thing!
Tori wanted to go down with Clara.  At one point Clara urgently yelled down at the people below to tighten the rope - or whatever the term is - so I was a little nervous for a bit there.  But Tori did well and was very proud.  (I don't have a good shot of it, but even their Grandpa Barrus went down!)
Here is most of the group.  (I'm sorry to say, I was a bit whiny about being in this picture, since I hadn't done my hair or make-up.  As if that was anyone's fault but my own!  In any case, that's what sunglasses are for.)
I love this shot!  Maggie loves Clara, but this look might make you wonder.
I like this shot too.  What a sweet Grandpa.
The other favorite thing for all of my kids was playing with the dogs people brought.  My kids are obsessed with animals, and dogs in particular.
Never enough sleep at this kind of get-together!
