So, Jonah's party didn't really have a theme, but they each got a fun little Lego set to play with at the end. We set up Nerf gun targets, and they decorated their own cupcakes, and had pizza. (He requested no theme. He said that people often bring gifts that suit the theme, and he didn't want to be tied down.)
Tori had a Harry Potter theme. She organized and prepared most of it herself. She had fancy scroll invitations, and they made wands, and ate Harry Potter treats while watching some clips from the movies.
Maggie had a pet theme. All of the kids got little stuffed dogs and supplies for them. It was cute. We invited her whole Primary class and a few school friends. Tori and her friend, Lauren, helped a lot with this one as well.
For Maggie's birthday, we took her to Build-A-Bear, and she picked out two stuffed animals and some clothes for them. It was a big hit. She still has them sleep by her.
They did a lot of silly things there, like giving her a plastic heart and having her touch it to her head, so the bear would be smart like she is, and then her legs, so it could dance like she does, etc. She was just young enough to still enjoy it. (Eli, not so much. :)
