Christmas 2016

Christmas was perfect in our new home. It was nice to have a room where the Christmas tree wasn't taking up valuable living space.

My favorite thing this year, was the kids' homemade gifts for each other. They looked on Pinterest, and at JoAnns, and decided on their projects. I need to take pictures of those separately. Eli painted little wooden boxes, Tori decorated mugs, Jonah painted T-shirts, and Maggie made reindeer out of small rootbeer bottles. They were so excited to have the others unwrap their homemade gifts. It was wonderful!

I have always picked out the kids' gifts, and have had a fabulous time doing it; but this year, John let me know that he enjoyed being involved in getting the girls' guinea pigs, and would like to do more in the future. So - next year, watch for more of a team effort, as I relinquish control of the gift-buying. :)

Tori didn't get her picture taken with her gifts, so I'll mention that she got Bubbles, a professional gel nail kit, a stuffed bank, polish, and other stuff....

Tori and I went to Brandon's and Annelise's wedding in SLC and did a little Christmas shopping. This is one of the Macey's windows.
