Miscellaneous from 2015

So, I haven't worked on the blog for a year. But I'm ready to catch up. (Luckily, I didn't take all that many pictures last year. I realized this when I was looking for pictures for the family calendar.) Some of the pictures I got from John's camera were actually from 2015, so I'm doing a catch-all "end of 2015" post. Here we go!
Maggie's 6th birthday!
It's dark because we were opening the presents in the morning, before school and work.

Lagoon. This was during the Frightmares time. The creepy things made the kids nervous, but the lines were relatively short, and the weather was perfect.

Black Island Farms. We used to go to this every year, so it was fun to go back. But not quite the same. The kids insist on growing up, and outgrowing things.

Crazy hair day at School. The glaze was made out of gel and cocoa. It took more than one washing to get it out.

Dinner at a local restaurant - Plaza Mexicana. The kids LOVED it. I get tense spending money on food. I can't help it. I can be kind of a mood-killer as the kids are ordering. :)

We went to a taping of the BYUTV football pre-game show. We then watched the game there. It was fun to watch and cheer with fans, and they provided pizza and drinks. We had a great time!
Our kitten, Ash. The kids miss him, so I'm throwing in another picture to make them say, "Oooohhhh! It's Ash!"
Provo City Center temple. It was incredibly beautiful!
Maggie's violin group performing in the elementary talent show.
Jonah on one of our frequent drives to the Wasatch Front.

For our ward Christmas party, we combined with the Spanish branch for a Christmas fiesta. It started off a little awkwardly for me, because I felt obligated to go around and make small talk in Spanish with everyone from the branch. But they were very sweet, and it went fine. For the pinata, they had a fun chant/song that they did that we need to learn. And then they had dancing. Most of our ward went home (including John and my boys), but the girls and I stayed and salsa-danced until fairly late.
No picture of Tori. Sorry!

Maggie's 1st grade Christmas program.
