Christmas 2015

The kids decided that they wanted to do Christmas at our house. However, we also really wanted to visit John's parents who live with Clara and her family now. (They have since last summer, I'm just now remembering to mention it here.) So we left for their house in the afternoon of Christmas day.

These shots are of Christmas Eve. (Although the kids have talked us into moving the tradition up a few hours so that they have time to play with the things they get.) My parents give the kids money each year, so now the kids use that money a little early and buy gifts for each other. Last year they divided it up and gave gifts to the other three, but this year they drew names, and it was enough money to get some things they were really excited to give and receive. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
