This and That

We have had a couple of days with temps. around 50 degrees, and the kids have wanted to be outside in shorts, as if these were actually good days to be outside in shorts.

Jonah, Maddex, Lincoln and Nicholas at lunch.
The kids don't actually play together yet. I just wanted a picture.
We've made plenty of forts before, but this time, their engineer dad helped. It was big and stable. These three even slept in there for a couple of nights.
Our stake had a marriage conference with Vai Sikahema as the keynote speaker. It was really enjoyable! (But we had to get a babysitter to cover the four-hours of driving, plus the five-hour conference and dinner.)

A few of us in our ward play group went to the Discovery Museum together. I really enjoy being with them. And with my sweet Maggie.

Speaking of Maggie, here are a few cute things she's said lately:
-She calls our sliding glass door, the "slide glassing door."
-She pronounced ridiculous "ridicl-e-us" and pretzels "prencels."
-And she mixes up verb forms sometimes, as in, "He founded it."
