Maggie Moo's Birthday

My baby is getting older. I still call her "baby," but she'll sometimes say, "You mean 'big girl.'" (I was telling someone that the other day, and Maggie wanted me to clarify that she tells me that "in a nice voice." Which is very true.  She is the cuddliest little thing you could imagine.  She hugs me and cuddles up on my lap all the time.  But she isn't perfect: when she is doing something wrong, you know it because she hides.  Like when she was eating Jonah's Halloween candy.  Or she hides the evidence, like when she didn't want to eat her squash, and hid it under someone else's plate.

She is always acting out some little scenario.  Today one of her characters was telling the other that she needed to get manners.  She said that she had already gotten manners - she got them from Jesus.  It's so fun to listen to her.

Maggie always volunteers to say the prayer.  She's not shy about it - she volunteers with the missionaries, the home teachers, etc.  In her prayers, she used to say, "Please bless Grandma and Grandpa, and Grandma and Grandpa."  Now she just says one set, so I don't know which is getting the blessings.

Here are some scenes from the big day:
The older three wrapped her gifts.
And helped her open them.
She loves Doc McStuffins and play acting, so a doctor's kit is perfect.
Our little princess.
We made two of these.  The girls decorated this one.
The boys decorated the one nearest them.
I'll bet I know what she's wishing!  (She always prays that we can go to Disneyworld and SeaWorld.  And sometimes Legoland.
I love this sweet girl!

I love her too!!! She is such a sweetheart, and as usual, you do such fun things with your children to make their birthdays and other occasions special.
