February Fun

I know you've seen past versions of these pictures - we've been to the zoo before, etc. but these pictures just make me happy. And on days like today, happy is no small thing. :) (I'm feeling pretty sick.)

This one is the kids playing with edible playdoh.

Here are the kids outside. Eli just threw a coat over his pajamas, which emphasized his cute skinny legs. (I should have that problem.) It used to be that the amount of time they spent getting ready was greater than the time spent outdoors, but lately they've been staying out longer.
My cute chubby baby:

And then the outing to the zoo on Groundhog Day. Who knew they had no groundhogs? (Tori is showing her scraped palms from a fall on the cement.)

The highlights were the animal babies - especially the snow leopard cub and tiger cubs. I've never seen any of the cats up close by the window before. In the past, we've always had to search the hill or lift the kids up to see them sleeping on their enclosure. It was fun - although I think I was more excited than they were. (The kids or the cats.)

Here's Tori being a groundhog. Or a prairie dog.

We made groundhog desserts with chocolate pudding, coconut and little groundhogs on toothpicks. Unfortunately, I didn't have any small see-through containers.
