Eli and Tori want to hold her all of the time: standing, sitting, wrapped in a blanket, on their chest. But Jonah is scared of her. He even says that. He doesn't want to hold or touch her. It made them all very sad when she cried during a diaper change. She's crying now, so I'd better run. But I need to quickly comment on my sweet friends and neighbors who have babysat for long hours, cleaned my house, and run kids to school. We are so blessed!
Here's our Maggie!
Not much time to write, but the delivery went very well. I don't think it could have been any easier. It just took about three and a half hours and I just did one push - that was it. I wasn't nauseated, no episiotomy, etc. She nurses non-stop when she's awake. When I first talked to one of my sisters, I noticed that her bit of hair looked curled while still wet, and word got out that she had curly hair. Unfortunately, she would need more than the little fuzz she has to say she has curly hair - or straight. She'll be a little bald thing just like the others.

Congrats Marnie!! You are home already? I'm sorry I never called you in the hospital! I assumed you'd still be there and I never know if people want to be bothered in the hospital or not anyway -- although, to tell the truth, I was actually pretty lonely and bored the last time I was there so maybe you would have liked more calls. Either way, the green gowns they have at your hospital are way better than the same old blue and white ones I always get!! You look great in all the pics as does Maggie. I can't wait to see her in person. I hope you are adjusting alright. I always think those first months are kind of surreal, but they do go by so fast. I swear Jesse seems like he was born yesterday and he'll be one soon. Congrats again!!
Marnie, little Maggie is adorable!
She's beautiful - congratulations!
