We went to our city's early version of the Fourth of July celebration a couple of weeks ago, and then to a parade with my sister-in-law, Clara, and her family on the 4th. We had a really fun weekend with them in Cedar City. Some of the pictures show us swimming with them. (I would put the label closer to those shots, but I'm having trouble moving pictures around. Is anyone else having trouble with organizing pictures on their blog? I used to be able to click and drag them anywhere, but I can't now.)

Baby name, parades and swimming
Well, the results are in, but it doesn't much matter. :) We've decided to name the baby Maggie Lucille Barrus. (I mentioned before that Lucille was my grandma's name.) We talked about Maggie earlier, and ever since then, I've been thinking of the baby as Maggie. And it's John's favorite. Tori is constantly asking me what I think of a particular name that she's made up.... "What do you think of Ashelina?".....or Alooslia, Clariona or Gracia. She's not too big on the name Maggie, but she'll come around. I was tempted to let her think up a name for the middle name, but I don't know that Maggie would have appreciated it.
