Cruisin' Main

The big news that led to this post was a global pandemic! Covid-19 (the Corona Virus) hit, and we were in a strict quarantine. Everything shut down in mid-March, and it got old pretty quickly. Although most of us in the family are introverts, we still missed getting out and doing fun things. Vernal City planned this Cruisin' Main event to let people socialize safely. It ended up being so much fun! We decorated the car and headed out, and found that most of the city was there - either driving or sitting along the sides of Main watching. People were honking and waving and it had such a happy feel. Here are pictures from two different weeks.

Here are some pictures of other vehicles. People got really creative the second week!

When I was little, people would go "drag the 'vard" (Washington Blvd). So this was a fun, family-friendly version of that, I guess.
