Our house

I'm going out of order so that I can show family members a few home shots, etc. Here are the kids in the master bath tub. They actually took this bath before we had officially moved in. (Somehow, when I was taking the bag of wet swimsuits, towels, and Tori's robe back to the apartment, I must have accidentally thrown it out with the garbage. I'm really sad about it.)
This morning, I took a shot of our fogged in yard. It gets like this up on our hill in stormy weather sometimes. (Being up high has a downside. We may not be able to get internet - at least fast internet - up here. I'm typing at the apt.)

We got a dog for a week. It was the longest, worst week of my life. Her name was Ellie and she wasn't trained much at all. She was hyper and a bit aggressive. We gave her back to John's co-worker. The kids were sad about it, even though they were always a little skittish around her. Eli made this Lego tribute to her:
Here's my kitchen set - minus one chair:
And this is the couch from the living room set. The walls are a warmer yellow than this shows.
The leprechauns found the kids here in NY. They got their green bag with green items inside:

Oh, man, those swimsuits are a loss and you know that I know all too well the troubles of dogs gone wrong. My kids still get so sad about Thor and miss him, but none of them seem to remember that he would leap on them so they were terrified to go outside and play which made my life much more stressful. I'm sorry.

BUT! I love your yellow walls and that beadboar! (Is that what it's called?). And I am so jealous not only of your property, but of your fog. I know that sounds silly, but in WA it would sometimes be all misty, etc. like that and it felt kind of mysterious and magical to me and as I look out my window just now at busy 500 W. and the eyesore new city storage shed they just built across our street blocking our nice view of the park, I think how it would seem rather lovely to be looking out at rainy misty foresty looking stuff. I'm happy for you guys!
