Back to an old haunt...

A few weeks ago, I got Tori and Eli out of school early - for no reason - and we went to the dinosaur park. Most of our memberships have expired, but I can get into the dinosaur park free with another local pass. It felt like old times. I miss getting out and about like we used to. I'm blessed that even without a steady income, our life hasn't changed too much. But every once in a while, things will happen that will remind me that our lives are different too. For example, the other day I finally splurged and got our horribly dirty carpet cleaned, and I thought several times as I prepared and then looked at the clean carpet, that I felt like a "normal person" getting something like that done. But, again, we're pretty darn lucky to have help from my parents and others that allows us to be in our home at all! And we're lucky to have these adorable kids:

Maggie loved the swing. I've got to find our baby swing and get it hooked up to our set. This display has petrified dinosaur poop:
I'm so glad the weather is finally starting to get warm enough to be outside. Sheesh!
