Cute Things

The kids have said some cute things recently that I want to hurry and write down. Today, I picked Tori up from kindergarten and she told me that the new girl was mean. Aparently this girl even stuck her tongue out at a boy in the class. I said that maybe it was because she was just.... sad. And Tori said, "Or maybe it's because kindergarten is just not fair." True.

Eli has been having another separation anxiety phase and has had a hard time leaving me or letting me go places. He'll get over it again. - So on Sunday, he was watching his friend who was having a hard time letting his mom leave. John was substituting his class and Eli kept turning around to see them in the hall. After a while he said to John, "He has what I have." John asked, "What?" and Eli said, "With Mom. He has what I have." Sweet boy.

A while ago, Jonah asked if I wanted something. I can't remember what - maybe some pop - and I said, "No, I don't really like it much." Then he said, "Eemy mimey meemey moe, catch a tiger by the toe.......And that means you DO like it." I didn't know you could use that to find out if people were telling the truth. Jonah says so many funny things daily. I've got to do better at writing them down.

Maggie just got one of her top front teeth. I knew it was coming, because she's been drooling profusely. It seemed like she said a couple of new words recently, but then she hasn't repeated them, so I won't record it as fact yet. :) She does do a kissing sound when you ask her to.
