Jonah Buddy

These are pictures from Jonah's actual birthday. He got a number of Ben 10 alien toys, which have been fun - but mostly he just likes to pretend to be them. I go to the zoo, and he is one of Ben's aliens there. Why we always need the zoo as our backdrop, I don't know. Tori turns into princesses there, Eli has been the driver for Lego vehicles there, etc. He also got some fun Toy Story toys, which he loves.

Jonah continues to say the funniest things. He (and Eli) always use the word, "seriously." The other day, I told him that if he had a bowel movement :) in the potty, he could get a little Lego toy. He was very excited, and ran to sit on the toilet. He almost immediately said that he had done it, but there was nothing there, so I told him no deal. He was frustrated and said, "Are you seriously tricking me, Mom?"

He is always very concerned that we might leave him or someone else behind. If I step outside to get the mail or take out the garbage, I have to tell him or he panics. If Eli gets too far ahead on a walk, Jonah keeps calling out to him to not go too far from us.

He'll often get down by Maggie and say, "Maggie, it's me: Jonah," over and over. She does enjoy him.
