Jonah:
-He always plays with "guys" - usually Lego figures now - but he likes any type of action figure, animal, car, etc. He'll either do little stories with them, or bring one to someone to play with him.

-The other night, I overheard this little conversation between Jonah and Tori:
"Towi, do you know how far I love you?"
"How far?"
"To Heavenly Father and Jesus and back."
"Jonah, I love you to Heavenly Father and Jesus and Arizona and back."
"Wow."

-At night, Jonah always wants John to lie by his car bed and hold his hand while he goes to sleep.
-Jonah is still at the age where he mixes things up grammatically, and I love that. A while ago he read a book to himself and told me, "I readed it with nonebody."

-Jonah says "actually" (akch-wy) often, which sounds so grown up. He's also said, "Gracious!" a few times.

-A while back, Jonah was very congested. He woke up in the night and called out, "My nose can't work!"

-Sometimes he'll say a little compliment out of the blue, like "Mom, I like your hair."

-The other day while we were driving, Jonah said, "Mom, this would be scary: if the road were a shark." He'll often just throw out little scenarios. Another time he said a meandering thing about how it would be sad if bad guys came and ate Maggie.

Maggie:

-A couple of weeks ago, Maggie started doing a high-pitched squeal for fun. She alternates between that and a growl when she's concentrating on something.

-I started having her cry it out when I put her down for naps a couple of weeks ago. She didn't seem to be getting it, and then I had to stop when she got quite congested. (Not because of the crying - I assume. )

-Maggie just stares at John whenever he's around. He'll look over at her, and she'll light up, like she's been waiting and waiting for him to see her.

-She can sit and chew on toys happily for long periods of time.

-Maggie loves to bouce in her exersaucer. She can't roll over, because I'm always putting her in that or the swing or something. I'm not in any hurry to hit milestones that will make things harder - especially crawling and walking. :)

Here are some pictures from the aquarium. Still too crowded, but it was fun to be there with my sister's family.

After the aquarium, we went to Kimberly's house to have a little birthday party for her.

Here's a snowman Eli made himself. Tori made one later, and I'm sorry I didn't get out to get a picture of it.

Kimberly and Tom made a fantasic Easter dinner with roast, asparagus, rolls, etc. These are a couple of shots from that evening:
And then here are some pictures from Easter morning. In addition to too much candy, Tori got some Bendaroos (a little crafty set) and Eli and Jonah got little Lego sets. Here they are putting them together:
I enjoyed general conference so much! I am always sad when it ends. Between sessions on Sat., the kids decorated eggs:

I went to help with Eli's class party. They did an Easter egg hunt at one of the kids' houses and then planted some grass in little pots.

Here's a quick quote that probably doesn't warrant being a "quote of the week," but I just laughed out loud when I read it to the kids this morning and looked around the room.
"And this mess is so big
And so deep and so tall,
We can not pick it up.
There is no way at all!"
-Dr. Seuss The Cat in the Hat
